Royalty27
Hi there, Sorry if this has been posted somewhere before. I've installed a tool wrong in error but I cannot see how to remove it from the toolbar. I have installed the correct tool now but, the old wrong version is still there. I have found the option to add a new tool and the 3 dots on the side only allow me to drag tools up and down the list but no option to remove it. What am I missing? Pickysaurus
Go to the "Tools" dashlet and click "Remove" in the menu on the tool you no longer need. Note that if it's a default tool you might not be able to remove it.
boundlessduck05
I don't see that option on the tools dashlet. I accidentally installed LOOT twice and I want to get rid of one of them. Any ideas on a fix?

boundlessduck05
Tools dashlet was not large enough for me to see the side menu haha. Thank you
Joppers01
I'm having a similar issue - I had installed the 'Fores New Idles In Skyrim' and 'SKSE 64' tools previously in my mods manager, and have since removed both. I can see the option to remove them from my Tools dashlet, but they never actually get removed from Vortex. I get an error about FNIS all the time, but can't seem to completely remove it. Am I missing something? Is there a way to check if it's still installed somewhere?
showler
You should check them to see if they contain any information (path to the executable, folder info). I think Vortex may have placeholders for very common tools even if they aren't installed.
