[Hogwarts Legacy] VORTEX doesn't install mods in the right place

I started Vortex again today for about a week to install new mods for Hogwarts Legacy.
First I got the message that outside of Vortex all mods were changed and therefore all mods were gone. The ~mods in the game was empty as well as the File Mager folder.
Now this can no longer be changed.

Now I wanted to re-download and install the mods and had to realize that many mods were not installed in the Hogwarts Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods directory, but in the main game folder.
After closer examination of the downloads of the individual mods, the reason seems to be that within the .zip file only the .pak file to be installed, without exact file path, ehnthalt is.

Since many mod authors do not pack their mods download manager friendly, I would ask that mods that contain a .pak file in the Legacy\Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods be installed.

Also, I noticed that mods are no longer installed into a specially created folder, but only the individual files. That they were installed in a separate folder was better in my opinion.

What happened to Vortex in relation to Hogwarts Legacy?

Ask on the extension page. The Vortex devs did not make the HL extension so support has to come from the extension creator.

If you reinstall the mod in question, does it deploy the right place?

 

It's possible that one of the extension updates was interrupted on your system so the PAK mods haven't properly been re-assigned the mod type that deploys them to the proper place.

I have this same issue. I reinstalled some of the mods and they're not working in game. :(

I can't replicate the issue, please provide specific examples of mods you're having this problem with.

 

I just grabbed a random PAK mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/hogwartslegacy/mods/1169?tab=files) which installs and deploys properly.
