makmellow
Hey Guys, for example, I use AN2. This mod is no longer supported. The successor is AN76, which I don't want to play though. Vortex always shows the update to me. Same thing with a face mod. Is there a way to mark mods in Vortex to be excluded from the update?
Guest deleted34304850
you can click the icon and tell vortex to ignore the available update, but sadly, this doesn't persist, so the next time you start vortex and have it check for updates, there it is, again.that's a frustration that i struggle with. showler
I wonder if you could alter the source data for the mod so it would fail any update checks. You'd have to be willing to repair it if you needed to update in the future though.
beebophuckleberry
I alter the metadata to solve this issue. Doubleclick the mod to open the side menu then remove it's ID number and whatever else. Problem solved. Now, Vortex won't even be able to check if there is a update for said mod. Also, I had a couple of instances where the above did not work. In that case i simply went to the staging folder, archived what was already deployed, then installed the mod with the new archive I just created. Problem solved. I prefer my first method of solving this issue. I only use the second method as a last resort.

Pickysaurus
You can also change the "Source" from Nexus Mods to "Other".
