363rdChemicalCompany
And also on not so legendary effects. For example I have NPCs in power armor and I wonder, will it just use the protection value or will for example the hydraulic bracer,s the optimized brazers, the Kinetic feet (whatever its called), the 50% knockback for melee attacks or whatever else one may have built into the armor work? I look at some leveled NPCs at my level (54 on this playthrough, and all i see is higher health in thier specs, and sometimes they have maybe 7 perks used , tops.So gotta wonder if they dont make full use of their level, will they make full use of the armor and special weapons I may give them. showler
Probably similar to Skyrim. Some effects work, some don't.
363rdChemicalCompany
Probably similar to Skyrim. Some effects work, some don't.I have not played Skyrim (yet) but I am really curious on the detail of all these effects. Also apologies for all the typos in original post, EDITED. showler
Well, some obviously wouldn't. The VATS based effects would be useless to NPCs for instance. The Wiki for the games probably has the most information.
363rdChemicalCompany
The Wiki for the games probably has the most information.I dont think it has anything on such questions about NPCs capabilities and limitations.
showler
If you look up the effects it will, in at least some occasions, mention whether the effect applies to companions. If it applies to companions it should work for all NPCs.
xrayy
i can confirm if i transfer a legendary weapon, for instance a knife, the legendary increased melee power also works for my follower npc as it works for the main character. also the 10% faster running effect. - at least as long as the npc's equipment does not change for any reason. i don´t think that works for all effects as showler explained

LarannKiar
Actor specific effects (Poisoner's, Irradiated) do but the gameplay specific ones (VATS Enhanced, Deadeye) don't.
