Extension for Assassin's Creed Origins issue

Tried to manage Assassin's Creed Origins. Extension for the game did not install. From the error message, install locations for the extension were incorrect. This location did have the folders referred to in the error message.

You should report this to the extension author. It seems to say that a folder is missing. You can probably just create it

Thanks Pickysaurus for reviewing this issue. However, I don't know how to get in touch with the Author. I can see the Authors name in Vortex, but don't see a way in either the forum or the Nexus website to send and email to the Author based on just the name that was provided in Vortex. Should I share that name with you in this chat?

 

I did create the folder the error message referred to as missing, and then tried a reinstall. this did not help.

Thanks Showler. I see the issue with the extension is shared by some others. I sent a message to the Author.

ok i need help, i got the extension for this game but vortex will still not let me manage it even if i set the path manually it just wont do nothing can someone help me with this issue?? cause id really like to use the mods for this game

Having the same issue and previous responses on other sites say the author has hard coded the path. The problem is that you can't remove the extension from Vortex. You get a 'failed to purge' that leaves the game in your managed games section. Wny doesn't Vortex just remove this mod until the author responds or reposts a fixed extension?
