Vortex freezes at trying to manage game

Vortex freezes at trying to manage Skyrim Special Edition on Vortex, fresh install. I've tried performing a clean install several times however a window in the corner pops up that vortex is downloading from OneDrive? I've never had that happen before and seems to be downloading at maybe a kb per minute... Any help will be duly appreciated!

I believe there is a Windows setting that links your documents folder to OneDrive and messes with Vortex because the files it needs are now in the cloud instead of on your computer.

I had a feeling that was it, but I was unsure of how to go about doing it.
