smr1957
For those wondering, I have not been able to post for the last month due to issues with my eyesight that caused me to be unable to see clearly enough to do any extended reading or typing, thus preventing me from keeping up my topics and threads, or posting anything else, for that matter. However, there is some good news - today for the first time since the end of November I was able to see the words on the PC screen clearly and it was not just all a hazy blur difficult to make out. Hopefully I will be able to continue to maintain the progress - but I am still being very careful not to put too much strain on my eyes for at least a while longer. Hopefully I will be able to resume posting and maintaining my topics relatively soon. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Take the time you need to get things right. We'll all still be here.

We'll all still be here. End of last month it started getting blurry and finally got so bad it was like trying to look through a glassine envelope. It would sometimes improve in the morning on awakening, but would then in short order deteriorate again, so I had to give up on trying to read or write, because I couldn't see clearly enough and it was just straining my eyes further. Gradually, it has improved to almost what it was prior to onset, and I am now able to once again see as I should - but I am, needless to say, being very careful not to put strain on my eyes now for a while. Any idea WHY it's getting blurry? Gone to see your doc?

No real idea other than strain or some temporary condition. It is now improving and seems to not be reoccurring - but I am being careful, all the same.
