Who can really speak any other langs?

Most people on this forum are liars, in that they cant really speak any other languages. The only real way to prove that you can is to write a paragraph in that language with the English translation, which I am quite happy to do:

 

Morrowind is the best game in the whole world because there is so much freedom. You can do anything you want. You can be a feared bandit, or a murderous swine. All this and the ability to make mods for the game makes it easly my favorite game.

 

In Latin:

Morrowind est optimus venatus obvius universus universitas quoniam illic est adeo licentia. Vos can operor quisquam vos volo. Vos can exsisto a vereor latrunculus , vel a interficio sus. Totus is quod potestas facio mods pro venatus planto is easly meus ventus venatus.

 

In greek:

Morrowind is the καλύτερος παιγνίδι μέσα στο ολόκληρος κόσμοs διότι υπάρχει so much ελευθερία. εσύ μπορείs κάνω οτιδήποτε you θέλω. εσύ μπορείs να είμαι έναs φόβος ληστήs , ή έναs φονικός παλινδρομικός. όλος this και the ικανότητα σε φτιάχνω mods για the παιγνίδι πρόχειρος αυτό easly my ευνοούμενος παιγνίδι.

 

In Finnish:

Morrowind on parhaiten rampa kotona eheä maailma koska paikalla on joten hyvin vapaus. Te kanisteri ajaa jokin te haluta. Te kanisteri olla pelätä liittyä yhteen , eli murhaava sika. Aivan nyt kuluva ja etevyys jotta ehtiä mods ajaksi rampa hätäkeino se easly minun edistää rampa.

 

And finnally in French:

Thankfully, there are no living Romans (in the original sense) on this forum - otherwise they'd probably feel insulted by the way how you bastardize their language; providing they didn't notice that you apparently used some miserable translation tool, I can't imagine that you'd leave "can" "untranslated" (if what you have posted comes anywhere near the word translation) yourself.

 

And if you have really done those "translations" yourself, here's a list what to do about your Latin:

 

- learn vocabulary, then learn to use a dictionary

- learn that Latin has flexible word order and not such a static syntax as Modern English

- learn that there are such things as declensions and conjugations, learn what the meaning of case, genus, numerus, tempus, modus and genus verbi is, learn the related tables and use them

- learn that there are more genera than "male"

- learn that a word by word translation of English does not make sense in Latin (no one says "illic est" or "ibi est", but simply uses a form of "esse " as a full verb

- and by all means, use the numerous possibilities to wrap up your sentences, participium coniunctum, ablativus absolutus, gerundium, gerundivum etc.

 

I leave the other languages to those who know them.

That was probably the worst use of the French language I ever read or heard. No, even more, it is an insult to the French language and my seven years of learning French in school. But since I'm tired and annoyed now, I won't take the trouble to properly correct it.
