Looking to wipe my hard drive.. Would it be possible to keep my mods, in order to not have to redownload everything again?

Hey everyone. I was looking to upgrade my hardware, and was going to wipe my drive to increase performance and everything. My question is, is there a way to keep my mods functional through vortex after the wipe, and reinstalling the game?

 

Idk if this helps, but my "Mod Downloads" folder is located on my F drive, while my "Mod Staging Folder" is located on my C Drive (The drive getting wiped.)

I went through something similar this summer. What I did was create a collection from my load order. Essentially a cloud save. Worked well.

Mods can always be reinstalled from mod downloads.

As long as you have that, and have Vortex point to it - you should be good.

Just reinstall Vortex and point it to the right place after fixing your boot drive.

No point in worrying about cleanup since you are nuking both your boot drive and the game.
