the only thing i'd like them to look at are things like the engine errors that affect power grids and the issue that was detected not so long ago where building something in a certain zone caused issues with vault 111, and i believe there was a fix that made use of f4se that unloaded such things from memory completely, thus preventing the problem.

however, i rather think they'll ignore those engine-stressing problems completely and just give us a platform for paid mods that can be utilized across all/most variations of the game, except, maybe the drm-free GOG versions.`

I am happy they take thier time.

This will give them the opportunity to make sure its good and wont break our mods.

It's still going to break F4SE.  That's a design choice by the F4SE team.  Bethesda literally cannot update the game executable without F4SE breaking.

bethesda's sole responsibility is the code they own. they are not responsible for mods of any description, except those on their creation club store. everything else - if it breaks (and as showler said, F4SE absolutely will), then that's life and that's the pennace you pay for playing with mods that bethesda didn't write.

this, by the way, is 100% normal and the post-update meltdown that you see in these forums and elsewhere is also, 100% normal.

my fo4 is set to never be auto updated via steam (as is my skyrim). so, i will be completely unaffected by any updates until such time as my f4se and mods that require it are all updated to be compatible with the new version. i would suggest, strongly, that you make sure that your game is protected in similar ways.
