GeorgeMittleton Posted April 14, 2024 Posted April 14, 2024 Any breed of tree just share your favorite
Maharg67 Posted April 14, 2024 Posted April 14, 2024 I have more than one fave and banyan trees are definitely one of them.
GeorgeMittleton Posted April 14, 2024 Author Posted April 14, 2024 (edited) mine are Linden Mediterranean Cyprus and Holm (and mostly all european trees) Edited April 14, 2024 by GeorgeMittleton
Pagafyr Posted April 14, 2024 Posted April 14, 2024 Blue Spruce Pine. The neighbors cut theirs down so the one growing Ithat gives me shade is all that is remaining of it's kind nearby. I just discovered that I don't know what those broad leaf 15 foot tall bamboo like stalks are. Their trunk looks like the way a bamboo tree does. There are no pictures of it's kind in the webpages about bamboo trees though.
Maharg67 Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 Banana ferns for they are not truly trees at all. 1
zixi Posted April 25, 2024 Posted April 25, 2024 I love larch. I love the fact that they're a deciduous conifer and the cones are gorgeous. It's quite difficult to say that it's my favourite but it's certainly one of my favourites. At night, the moon is often rocking in our larch tree, or hanging from it like a glass bauble. There's something magical about it. My husband thinks it's my favourite because of Skyrim... 1
Maharg67 Posted June 30, 2024 Posted June 30, 2024 Though they are not trees but ferns, banana trees are wonderful especially with big bunches of bananas ready to eat. When I lived in the far north, of Australia, we had one in our backyard.
