That tends to happen when users see a warning as a challenge or personal attack and decide to start a fight that they can't win.

I always enjoy the folks that start whining about their 'first amendment rights'.... on a private forum, based in a country that doesn't HAVE a freedom of speech.

Or rather does, but it's more restricted in some ways. And yah, private forums in either country can still decide what they will and won't allow, much like most other privately-owned spaces. Just like it may not be illegal to throw insults at other guests in someone's house ... but don't be surprised if you're not invited back.

Yeah, some seem to struggle with the concept of countries having different laws. 1

Yah, I've seen stuff like that on Quora before. Even if most of those are trolls, there are still bound to be at least a few people that dumb. Guest deleted156886133
I believe the majority of folks in the USA misinterpret what it means to have freedom of speech. They say something foolish then punctuate it with, "I have freedom of speech." and act like that's the end of it. Sure, you're free to say whatever the hell you like but if it's deemed unacceptable by any means, there will be consequences. So, keep flapping your lips but don't be surprised when someone shuts you up. And yeah, expecting that right to be respected on an international forum just makes them more of a fool. If you say things the people around you don't like, don't be surprised if at least some of those people use their own freedom of speech to criticize it.
Guest deleted156886133
Another pirate goes off the deep end. This one really needs a lesson in how to employ euphemistic words and phrases. The first rule is to not include the word you're trying to downplay. Here's what I'm talking about: One of the latest banned users said, "I use the Pirates of the Caribbean version... ". Now, if it were me, I would've said something a little different like, "I use the less than legit version" or "I use the poor man's version". Anything but what that guy said! The Pirates of the Caribbean version. Hah! Not so subtle, kid! Off ya go!
