interface flickering during installation of mods

After the update I see the ui flickering when installing and when sorting the rules

Try turning off GPU acceleration in the settings. This kind of thing is almost always caused by rogue GPU drivers.

Same thing here. Heavy flickering since the update, which becomes much, much worse when sorting and deploying, to the point of making Vortex unusable. GPU acceleration doesn't seem to help.

I was seeing the same thing. Seems turning off GPU acceleration helped in my case.

Same thing here.  Latest Nvidia Game Ready Drivers installed via new Nvidia App.  Disabling GPU acceleration also helped my case.

Yep, can confirm. Same error after Vortex update today; disabeling GPU acceleration worked for me.

Same issue. disabling GPU acceleration did NOT work for me. It did not slow down the flickering or even improve it.

Same. GPU switch didn't fix it.

If changing the setting in Vortex didn't work you probably have some kind of global GPU acceleration enabled. Check your GPU/Driver/Graphics settings
