Perhaps you should take your own advice.

If you don't know the difference between giving an example of how something is sometimes used and saying that is the ONLY way something is used, then you probably shouldn't be posting.

I was never rude, so I'll give that advice back at you.

You did not mention 'sometimes'. You never implied that there were more options.

By mentioning only one of many outcomes you imply that that's the only way to use flags, which is false.
