Whitescreen crash

Same, but that doesn't help the Vortex developers find what is causing the issue.

It didn't fix it for me. Only started getting white-screen crash/restart (resume) error yesterday, after attempting to download a public collection (which I don't often do). My own personal draft test installs are fine. However, persisted after downgrading from beta to 1.11.7 - while ver 1.11.6 is back to normal. Can safely say I didn't download any public collection on 1.11.7+ or I would have noticed their constant re-installation being crippled by it vs my own heavy use of collection drafts.

Tried updating to 1.11.7 stable and issue still occurs for collection installs (regardless of beta). I'm considering a full reset to investigate whether anything I do that isn't default behaviour is contributing bc right now I can't do anything with public collection unless I've downgraded to 1.11.6 (which is irritating enough to want to test if persists after reset).

The same thing happens with The Witcher 3 Definitive Edition Collection
I read the installation instructions carefully
Follow the steps slowly
Completely removed and reinstalled my operating system
Completely clean the original game
Vortex keeps crashing, restarting and stopping downloading and installing collections
I need to press the bell prompt to continue collecting after a crash
By the way, I am a junior MIS
Everyone needs to be patient and wait for the window to solve the problem.
and provide error logs continuously and effectively
It is very tiring to check the log and enable code editing and debugging.
It would be great if the cause could be solved
I hope to give some small rewards to users who feedback error logs.
For example, give more 7-day membership time?

I downloaded the newest version of vortex on my new pc and was having the white screen crash/reboot combo when downloading a collection. Also tried using the most current beta version. Just confirming that downgrading to version 1.11.6 still helps with this issue.
