Why are Fallout 4 mods connected to my Fallout 4 VR profile?

They have separate saves, installs, mod folders, etc. Why do I need to see a list of all the Fallout 4 mods I'm not using in my Fallout 4 VR profile?

Vortex still punishes you for modding more than one game at a time it's crazy. Profiles were almost a hidden feature. Now they are still mixing.

Because the vast, vast, vast majority of Fallout 4 mods will work on Fallout VR and there is no point in having duplicate mod pages for them just to "separate" the games.

That is an insane line of thinking. Why do I want non-used mods that can literally never be used by said game cluttering up a game profile? Vortex is turning into bethesda and needs a mod? Seriously? I can't separate them unless it's on a different machine?

This is true of some mods, yes.  But it's not enough of an issue to redesign the website.

No, that was clear.  But Vortex gets it's information on what games a mod is compatible with from the website.

Actually, one thing you might be able to do is double click the mod to open the side panel and change what games it is assigned to.

You can filter your mods tab to only show enabled and disabled using the column headers
