no mod manager for some reason works when I try and download through the "mod manager download" and it just gives me a "unexpected end of archive" error. please help

As the title says all the mod managers I've tried even after I factory reset my computer and made different nexus accounts will not work when I try and download with the "mod manager download" button. The mod will just say or thisand this happens with all games like Skyrim, bg3, and fallout 4 and with all two mod managers I used vortex and MO2. It works perfectly fine when I manully install them which I would do but with bigger mods the browser just keeps messing up so no and when I open The file that vortex downloaded it says this  so I'm lost can someone help

As the errors are saying, that file is corrupted. You may need to redownload it.
