Tinislav
Recently I lost a lot of data form my hard drive including all my installed mods. My save files were spared (thank god) and now I'm trying to retrace which mods I had installed. Is it possible to see all mods that were used in a specific save file? showler
I believe both Vortex and MO2 can do this if you look at the save file in them.
AndalayBay
Wrye Bash definitely lists the load order for a save.
subaverage
At first you could look whether your old "C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\Fallout4\plugins.txt" still exists and is not overwritten. If so, it contains a list of your mods. Otherwise you could try to start the game and load your last save that bases on all the mods. You get a message about missing content. This is also a list ot the missing mods. Maybe the "Fallrim Tools" here on nexus can list the baked in mods of a savegame, too. In any case you get only the name of the ems, esp or esl files. Sometimes the mod is called different and it is still a lot of searching necessary.

fraquar
The only issue you will have is you also need to know what other non-plugin mods you were using. i.e. Texture replacers, F4SE mods (most of them), User Interface mods (like FallUI) - these "mods" don't use plugins - they wouldn't show up even if you had your Plugins.TXT file. You also need to recreate the custom settings you might have been using with some mods as well - and those won't show either. Hope you weren't using merged mods (which would need to be recreated - or installed from an archive you might have kept). ----- If you have a small list, maybe. If you are rocking a gigantic list with a lot of customization - you got your work cut out for you.
AndalayBay
Wrye Bash also has a list of installers, which include almost everything. The only thing you can't install via WB is F4SE itself. Just sayin'!
fraquar
Was he using Wrye Bash? If his mod list is anything like the ones we see in the cries for help - good luck with that.
