This is the modified CSS code, will try to publish also on https://userstyles.world

Please note i'm not a professional and i'm with very basic CSS knowledge and i tried to do my best.

You can get the code here:

I'm terribly sorry, there was a bad formatting with the previous CSS code.

Here's the correct one:

Wow. Like 40 new pages since my last post and 99% of them share my dislike of the new look and like 1% are weirdly offended that people don't like it.

If you like it that's fine, but being nasty or unpleasant is hardly a way to win others over to your side.

That being said, I would think that 145 pages of negative sentiment would send a pretty strong message of how the community feels.

Hopefully the Devs actually listen to it, and not ignore the community on this. Since they could just do that and think we wouldn't really make a difference.

Oh man this is alot of feedback 🙂 ...

I really just wish that you make most of the visual changes and UI changes which differ from the original "optional".

It might sound paradox but this way people can mod the nexus page themself, without using browser extensions. Its a win win.

A visual change for example is the glow behind the images used for https://next.nexusmods.com/profile/.../mods which are now not available anymore. I really liked the glow in the back of the image which really fits to the overall dark environment.

them describing the feedback as "incredibly positive"(no sources btw) in the monthly roundup post says all you need to know about what they think about our opinions on it.

Why is the Nexus turning into mod.io? Mod.io layout is horrible and lags even more horribly... which is now happening here too. The slideshow that I'm buffeted with when browsing is NOT welcome. The "re-design" that is simply a copy-paste UI from mod.io is NOT welcome.

Then again, when did you guys ever listen to us? I believe the feedback for this mess is "incredibly positive" as much as I believe the feedback to the changes to mod ownership was "incredibly positive".

Give me a toggle to keep the old UI, because the new one is... well, I can't post what I really think of the new UI without offending someone horribly, so here's an emoji to partly express my feelings. 🤮

Exactly... This is so sad...

Thats why hopefully we can have a good change. not these kind of devs.

They forgot why Nexus mods reputation is what it is today.

* Edit *

They even removed/ declined my post on the feedback boards. proved us right.

Purely anecdotal but I released a mod 2 days ago and it's got nowhere near the same activity in terms of comments that most of my other recent releases have. I'm not arrogant enough to expect loads of comments and endorsements on every release, but most of my recent releases have hit hot files pretty quickly and drawn loads of comments.

This one, not so much. Obviously, it might not be as good as my other mods and this would explain it, but I just don't feel like I'm seeing the same amount of activity, which could mean people are not finding my mod as easily as before the changes.

Not having list view has certainly made me less inclined to browse new mods as scanning left to right just hurts my eyes.

I haven't been looking at any mods since this change. The headache isn't worth it. So it can also be that fewer people are looking at mods in general.

It even randomly sorts new mods... I like to browse by latest, but it's literally putting it in a random order. Worst I saw was "2 hours ago" next to "1 week ago" next to "3 days ago" next to "1 hour ago". This is a bad change. Please give us options.

Hey @DefenestratedKoala , the dates on the mod tile are for "Updated"  and "Published" (if you hover over the dates you'll get a tooltip clarifying). When you sort by published, it's sorting by the second, exact date. This should always be in sequential order. Older mods might have a newer updated date, resulting in the updated dates not always being in order. Does this make sense?
