A1British1Lass
Quite frankly as a LONG TIME user of nexus mods this is abysmal i have never once thought nexus needs a major ui overhaul and this "mobile app" garbage is just a miss, seriously besides a few console games this a pc game modding website so why does it look like the most bog-standard fast food android app i've ever laid my eyes on Whoever greenlit this change should be ashamed as it shows utter incompetence and disregard to the community you rely on, keep this up and there won't be a nexus mods to go too in a few years time
theopu123
Honestly hate being able to only fully see like 4 mods at a time, wish you'd just add more options so I could customize it.

Expand Oh WOW! You're actually going to do something about the contrast NOW? After we've been telling you about this since the redesign of the Profiles page? And forums page? So, how many negative replies does it take to actually get you to realise that yeah, we hate it?
hymhym
Would hate to be the person who has to shift through all these posts... But yeah, add me to the ever-growing number of people not happy with the change. It really feels like change for the sake of change. It doesn't improve anything and only makes things harder to use. Prioritizing collections on the game page over mods is bonkers. Like many others, I do not care about collections. I do my own mod lists. I come to the Nexus for mods, not collections, not images, not videos. Mods. That's what this site is supposed to be for and that is what should be prioritized in its layout. The search function is garbage now. I want advanced search options back. Especially the ability to search for text within mod description. Not everyone names their mods in a straightforward manner and often you only realise their relevancy to your needs through their descriptions. This whole thing seems to be based first and foremost what its creator thought would look slick instead of trying to come up with a system that preserved the functionality of the previous setup while expanding it with new options. Just ditch this nonsense and revert back to the previous version. That at least was usable.
tpunk23
Actually you know what I do have an actual suggestion to offer. Give people the option to opt out completely. If they like how the site looks and how it works. Give them the option to opt out of updates like this one.

How does this screenshot look to you? This is an example of the highest contrast we are trying at the moment (14:1), so this screenshot is testing that (which would be the maximum contrast in the UI. Although it may be lower contrast in the final design, as long as it's above 7:1. Do you think this will help with your problems? Expand #8e8e8e on top of #232326 would look even better, but that's like, just my opinion, man.
jdkzombie
This update is a really horrible execution. There were better ways to update the UI without sending it through the mobile app-ifier. I am a premium subscriber, I pay for services here. Since this update I have not spent much time here at all, I'll use Vortex to go directly to a mods webpage to look for an update so I dont have to spend any more time that usual looking at whatever the hell you guys did. I will no longer be paying for services if this is going to be the way things are, where you silence opinions elsewhere because the developers and/or CM's love to act like the end all be all lord of flies. Hell, I have so many damn mods for Skyrim, Fallout 4, and Starfield that the mod folders are 2 to 3 times larger than the actual game themselves. This will no longer be the case with the current UI. You don't rely on a poorly implemented "beta" to force a whole new UI change without directly engaging everyone. This wasn't a small update, this was an entire site change and it is abysmal. I've also been a member since October 28th 2012.

The sample you have provided represents only a small portion of what a whole page would appear like, and I am afraid that with the level of darkness it currently encompasses, that the overall experience will still prove to be overwhelming. The text is a good size (personally speaking), but I agree with WndMll's opinion (included below) that the colour hex of #8e8e8e would be a major improvement.
