Qrsr
Great that you added folders, i noticed it lately so it might be present some time already but it is so much better now. You still want to read some of the WIKIMEDIA articles, especially concerning browsing websites, there is a "rule" that certain content may and or should not be hidden. So eventhough its (for me) super handy to have folders like in the image i posted, you might want to have an option to disable this and let the user decide IF he wants to use and how he wants to use it. By default you may want to have it stacked below each other. Meaning; New Updated Trending ... etc. At least if that will not limit the loading on your page. Whenever your adding something, i really recommend to read anything about styling at the WIKIMEDIA sections. EVERYTHING was already discussed and the most useful articles can be found there because wikis are meant to extend readability and useability. Exactly what you want afaik. So just merge want will and should work for the site with the intel on the wikimedia construction articles. I did alot of work in past on at least one wiki and reverse engineered all and in the end, all the data you can find on wikimedia is incredible helpful to all of this here. Also i want to add this to your modding nightmares: Reveal hidden contents

zloybelka
Oh, great! Now the awesome new notifications whatever also chews up half of a notification message. Also, the tiny super narrow bell counter font looks so accessible! As accessible as it looked since last year, I must remind y'all. Why exactly was there a giant green banner visible on every page of this website all day today to advertise an April Fools joke, but there was no giant green banner visible on every page advertising the survey on the users opinions about the new UI? I would very much have liked to get an opportunity to give my feedback and opinion about the redesign, but I still have not been presented with any option to take this survey that supposedly exists Expand There's a news post on the website that sends a notification to every single user in the community (unless they opt out of the news), so putting it on the forum too is unnecessary. We're just having a little bit of fun with April Fools.
showler
I mean, the hotjar survey also took place during the beta phase so I'm not sure why some people think they should be seeing it now anyway.

Expand There was a big blue banner across the top of the main site for a few weeks inviting you to try the beta. So I'm not sure what else you think we could've done there. That's even more prominent than a news post or a forum banner. If you dismissed/ignored the banner, there's not anything we can do there. We made it dismissable to respect that some users simply weren't interested in it.

Also to clarify, did the banner only appear on the homepage or unless dismissed did it load on ALL pages? (And considering the functionality/accessibility issues maybe that beta should still be running instead of live.)
