Gamefrick Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Nothing even loads for me lmao. Every single mod page for any game is stuck in an infinite loading loop. Tried disabling all extensions and using Chrome and Firefox.
SaintTheStig Posted March 20 Posted March 20 So far not a fan of the new homepage, it's making it harder to do daily checks on what new mods are out. We need an option to remove collections from the homepage, it's just a waste of space. That said if you are dead set on updating can the home page be more dynamic? Like use all of the width of the page for mod tiles instead of just half. If there has to be an update then add modern features like that at least 4

FrumpyBadger Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Fallout 4 user here. In addition to the pruning of features and making the site more cumbersome to navigate, the removal of Trending and the new settings putting most endorsed mods first seems purpose-built to promote bulky Collections downloads, severely outdated plugins, and AI snake oil to the front of any search with little to nothing in the way of oversight or curation. This has the potential for new users to find themselves building modlists out of plugins that are grossly out of date and break more things than they fix, as well as actively punishes new uploads from longtime mod publishers for not being made seven to eight years ago. These changes have obviously not been made with functionality or the trust of the community in mind. Reconsider them. 12
Glitchfinder Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Frankly, I think the most impressive thing about this update is that I browse half-screened on a 4k monitor, which means the site should be displaying vertically, and it still manages to waste a full fifth of the page on margins. Slightly more, in fact, as the pixel counts indicate 21% of my screen width is being used for margins to the left and right of the page content. 7 1
mwftw Posted March 20 Posted March 20 This UI is difficult to navigate and searching mods have become a hassle.... This was an unnecessary change which makes things overly complicated... 11

I had ublock turned off, but time to turn it on. Won’t help with tracked content updates though - they have been removed! Like many others I only care about hot mods and mod comments. 7
