Just want to point out that this particular thing is a bug, and we're aware of it. Hopefully, it'll get fixed soon.

It feels like some sort of drastic switch was flipped. I have chronic migraines, so websites offering a Dark Mode are always a plus, but whatever the new update introduced is more like an ULTRA Dark Mode. Before it was this nice balance of gray; not too bright and not unbearably dark.

I was hoping that returning with some extra sleep and an aspirin on board might improve the experience (not that taking an aspirin just to utilize a website should be necessary), but the contrast issues are still too strong. Tried running the site on two other devices, and the experience is the same. I have been attempting to find a word to describe what the font appears to be doing... Swimming, perhaps? To my eyes, the dark contrast of the site is giving the font a ghastly bloom effect--the very sort of thing I use mods to get rid of when it shows up in games.

For the love of the Nine and all that is holy, change the damn UI back. Keep this as the default if you really must, but at least give us an option to change it back. The new colors and shapes are terrible, along with the font. The old UI was also something that I saw about 1 in every 3 days during my entire childhood, so it feels uncomfortably alien, like the world itself is losing its soul even more.

The only place where you actually shouldn't have been saving the vertical space is vertical (line) spacing on description pages. Crammed walls of text make it way less readable (although it's just 1/3 of the original height, the difference is appalling). You can (yet) compare it to file download descriptions and comments section.

Not to say wider text section (description, comments etc) itself and the new more rounded font make it additionally harder to read (yes, in any language) and decreasing the scale (to make it narrower) leads to decreased font size

 

P.S. The new gradient backgrounds hurt my aesthetic sense.

And I can't even see the full mod name (if it's a little longer) at 100% scale What's even the point?

Yes, I have to constantly switch between 100% and 90% now, one time the font is uncomfortably big, next time it's uncomfortably small, why can't I just have everything at a normal scale, like a day ago?

So I was writing a report (after clickling "Report Abuse" on a mod) and wanted to add a forward slash / to my report by pressing Shift + 7 on my keyboard. This opened up the new search menu instead, and I couldn't add the /. Had to copy/paste the / from a text file on my PC instead. Just thought I'd let you know.

Sorry about that; we discovered this bug ourselves this morning. There's a task to fix it.

I have to express my discontentment with the new UI you rolled out this week.Honestly, walk back the new interface, it is in no way superior to the old UI which was fine and elegant and needed no updating. Don't try to fix what's not broken. 
The new color scheme is an eye-sore on the mod pages and overall with the tracking, endorse new buttons the pages are less colorful and classy.

I've tried it on mobile, it's not much of an improvement there either. Please offer the option to switch between designs if you won't roll it back. Especially to Premium users.
