wfandrews
It used to be simple for me to go to a forum for the game I was interested in, I would simply click on "community" and it would take me to the forum for the game page I was on. Now it takes me to some general page with a multiple menu that I have no idea how to get to the forum for the game I want. Is this supposed to be an improvement? There is an old engineers motto, KISS which you might keep in mind.
Community Manager Pickysaurus Posted March 19 Community Manager Share Posted March 19 I've moved this to a more appropriate forum. It's not related to our desktop app. Can you be more specific on the issue you're having?
Community Manager Featured Comment Pickysaurus Posted March 19 Community Manager Featured Comment Share Posted March 19 Wait, never mind, I see what you mean. The links to the forums are broken in the new design, that's definitely a bug. I had raised it a while back but I'll give it a bump!
wfandrews
Thank you for your reply prompt reply. If you could, in the meantime, point me to where I could find the specific game forums I would very much appreciate it. for instance community>forums>? Thanks once again. M48A5
With this update, why have you made in so difficult to access the FO3 and FNV forums? Is it planned so that they can be shut-down do to lack of interest? It sure seems to be the case, since this has been mentioned more than once and nothing has been done.

Not sure if you read the post a few messages above yours (I'd recommend reading the last few posts before wading into a discussion!) but it's a known bug that we'll fix as soon as we can.
Glitchfinder
For specific details in case other people are having issues, the intermediary forum link seems to be broken and is no longer forwarding people to the game specific forums. As an example, for Fallout 4 the Community->Forums menu link provides this URL: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum//games/5-fallout-4/ That fails to resolve and as a result drops people onto the forums homepage. The intended destination is: https://forums.nexusmods.com/forum/8900-discussion/ In the meantime, if you're trying to get to a game-specific forum and don't have the link on hand, you may be able to dig it up by searching here. wfandrews
Thank you Glitchfinder for that last link, it seems to be what I was looking for. I have bookmarked it and I hope it will stay where it is at the moment. I sincerely hope Nexus will soon stop trying to improve the members experience as they seem to be breaking more than they are improving. I have been a member of Nexus for some time and I truly do love this site it is just that I am becoming so frustrated with how they are handling forums at the moment.
