Forum profile badge has poor contrast

Has anybody checked their profile page?

Who the HECK thought it would be good to put WHITE TEXT, on a YELLOW Background?

I can barely make out what it says, I had to highlight the white text with my mouse cursor to get an idea what the text said.

(Hopefully the picture show, in the correct size, so you can see what I mean, because being larger, makes it easy to read, but the original size, to me, looks like a WHITE LINE, on a YELLOW background.)

I literally am unable to read that, looking directly at it. I have to keep glancing away to try to make out the after image it leaves on my retina.
I also have a very hard time reading that tiny brown font as yellow, on the BRIGHT YELLOW background. It looks like a line of ants.

Is a group of BATS designing the interface? Or maybe Daredevil?

I agree that looks bad, but something you need to understand is the majority of the stuff under the forum is powered by Invision Community, we haven't designed it. We do tweak the CSS as different things come up, but there are some UI elements (like the one you pointed out) that don't appear unless specific criteria are met so can't easily be tested.

Yeah, I can't read that either.... The second line, I can actually make out, but, the white text? No clue what that says.

And: Page 157. And ALL of the responses since last I checked, are all NEGATIVE. And these are actual site users..... I don't know about the folks on Reddit, or Discord, but, DO they actually USE this site? Or are they just a cheering section for whatever it is the team wants to do??? Once again, the folks posting HERE, are actually the folks that USE THE SITE..... They have a vested interest in 'updates' actually IMPROVING the site, not making it useless for a selection of folks, and less useful just darn near EVERYONE.

You guys REALLY need to rethink this update. It's going over a lot like the cybertruck.

Although, the second line could use a bigger font.
Those other colors made me feel Snow-blind.

This White on Orange theme is harsh. (Same goes for the “SUBMIT REPLY” down there on the bottom right, to post this.)

This is the exact thing that can trigger the Ocular Migraines for me, everything is too bright, then starts to get fuzzy, then it looks like flashing Chirstmas lights inside my eyes.

Thanks, we've tweaked the buttons and mentions using black on orange. It's part of the new design system we're using, but it hasn't been rolled out to the whole site yet.

Speaking of badges, does anyone know how to get the new Mod Author badge that was added recently? The one I'm talking about is the one that is mentioned on the new Mod Author Benefits page.

That user was actually set up wrong by one of our support staff. The mod author is a secondary role and doesn't currently show a pill. I'd like to improve that, but I'm having problems with Invision's theme editor when I try and add it, so I need a proper dev to take a look.
