niphilim222 Posted May 18 Posted May 18 Yup community shaders has fsr built in, silky fps and looks good to, while modding to insane and back again. PBR all the way.
Pagafyr Posted May 18 Posted May 18 When I saw her standing there in her red and white FidelityFX Super Resolution dress, wearing those silk stockings all the way up to her long Frames Per Second, she sure looked Physically attractive just Based on what I could see what she Rendered of her delightful attraction. While I am still standing up what should I say to the waitress so she will not think I am coming on to her too strange?! I think I will ask her if she takes orders to go. If she says yes, then I will say. Get your coat and lets' go somewhere else for dinner and have a great night on the town. If she smiles and gives me a amorous look I will press the Enter tab and we'll be playing games all night long. Then I might say... ...I WIN!
Pagafyr Posted June 6 Posted June 6 On 5/17/2025 at 2:58 PM, Werne said: Nvidia studio drivers are for production machines, business basically, not sure how good they are for games though. I do know AMD's PRO drivers are meh for gaming as they're outdated. Also, I've never heard of Valley FPS counter misbehaving, this is a first. I'd check mine but I only use it as a stability benchmark so I don't really care if it's accurate or not. By the way, if any of you are playing Oblivion Remastered and can't use DLSS (aka, don't have an RTX card), get DLSS Swapper and upgrade Oblivion's FSR to 3.1.4, this greatly reduces ghosting when using FSR, now it's actually pretty good. The notes on the studio version for production machines suggest that if you have a computer with all the Nvidia video gamers bells and whistles the Production studio version will not give your Nvidia video cards any trouble. The gamer version is built for the studio version already, because the Studio version is fully packed with all the Nvidia video cards gamer version plus. For people that do MODDING (which is producing production stuff) they will get the upgrades when the Studio users see any adjustments the video gaming software we download gets occasionally.
Werne Posted June 8 Posted June 8 As I said, I'm not sure about Nvidia drivers as I haven't had an Nvidia card since my GTX 1060 died and I only used game-ready drivers anyway. I do know AMD's PRO drivers are built for stability in production software (things like AutoCAD, Photoshop, etc.) and they tend to be out of date for gaming. For example, while the latest 25.Q2 PRO drivers released this month just like the 25.6.1 Adrenalin drivers they have an older driver version (25.10.10 as opposed to 25.10.13.01) and there's a good chance there won't be a new PRO driver until late this year or not at all until next year while new Adrenalin drivers get released on a monthly basis or even quicker. Looking at the Nvidia side of things, studio and game-ready drivers seem to be the same driver version so I'm gonna take a guess and say it's fine no matter which one you use for gaming. And now it's my turn to win.
Pagafyr Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Spoiler Discussing today tech stuff I am familiar with because I soldered many a Radio Shack part together. Has a new way of getting it done CORRECTLY. The discussion between us reminded me of the sense of being a little smarter and trying to HELP techy people today again. Something else got into my thoughts though today. Something upsetting me, like, Grumpy passing away. All the sad posts at CanadianIce and Howndogs forum made me real sad. Thanks to the ongoing discussion between niphilim222 and you Werne; I remembered one manual I read that was like a quest for a game. Inspiring CREATIVE THINKING. While I read your last post today; I remembered reading a bunch of techie manuals about making our first mod for Morrowind. Grumpy's modding manual! That one restored my 52 years young mind to thinking. A very important part of our lives is THINKING. Or I get really techy and other people find me DULL. Leaving the tech zone bleep blop bleep bleep blop TA DA, and thinking like a modder instead of an Expert tech guy adds THINKING back into the brain skull. I understand why I stopped modding. I just needed a good jolt to remind me what restored my little cap's propeller spinning. It was Grumpy's way of livening up his instruction manual. He made anecdotes that gave his manual's instructions fun. It wasn't a long list with little black lines making squares on white paper next to words all waiting for little tick marks to fill them. TECH BOXES (robots can do that for us now). Grumpy Lives! Yes he does! In our minds and in our hearts. Emma too! Bleep, blop, sizzle, spark, bleep, bleep. No more hours with the soldering iron. TECH BOXES are no longer required to make sense of the construction manuals for computers, or printed blueprints to read. and such. (robots can do that too for us now).
Oblivionaddicted Posted June 18 Posted June 18 (edited) The quantity of things an AI can do is fascinating and frightening at the same time. Edited June 21 by Oblivionaddicted
Pagafyr Posted June 18 Posted June 18 IMO What's frightening about AI isn't what AI can do or could do; it's what the people who gave knowledge to the AI which is their own knowledge. Only those people who made and put all the AI information into the AI system know what might be frightening, because AI is a collection of all of the AI creators human knowledge. I saw a Short on YouTube where two phones AI systems talked. Heres another one someone else did. And got the new method to start talking to talking to each other in their none human language. The one YT I saw was getting reservations for the people who had the phone with the AI that started the conversation and the other AI on the other phone helped and set up the peoples dinner reservations. Two AI I talked with each other. And used a method to improve their conversation in a language the one recommended and the first party AI phone accepted to continue and complete the reservations.
niphilim222 Posted July 11 Posted July 11 Sigh the only place in The world right now is Amazon that sells Tim Hortons tea bags. Sigh I guess I have to settle with Red Rose for now lol.
Pagafyr Posted July 13 Posted July 13 I just might take a road trip to Colorado to get some fresh roasted coffee beans while their still warm. Otherwise I will have to take a road trip to Washington and get on a car ferry to get near Alaska to where Raven's Brew owners are roasting their beans. If I go that route they will still be hot right out of the roaster. I found the company with some spooky pix on the bags of unground beans at a Store while on a road trip to the West a week before Halloween. Yeah! I planned ahead just in case I didn't survive that painful year until New Years Eve. I was preparing my celebration of life on Halloween. Thinking that years Halloween might be the one where brave Boils and Ghouls might ring my chimes, and say, TRICK or TREAT! When I saw the pix on one of the bags it showed a skeleton in bed holding out a coffee cup as far as it's bony arm reached and the words under it's bony pix said, "Deadman's Reach."
