Imagine the happy face on a deaf person who would hear music for the first time in his life. That would so cute to witness :)

Anyway. Onto more manly stuff.

Russians were trying to catch fish with hand grenades and almost got killed.

It looked something like this:

One of the good things about life is that you can change the background music if you don't like it

Except if you're deaf, then you don't need music at all.

Actually, a lot of deaf people do "listen" to music, they still catch the vibrations. Especially something with a good bassline :)

Same reason why personally I can't stand using headphones, sure they get you the "best quality reproduction", but music is also about the air that a speaker (or instrument) physically shifts, and the vibrations it causes in the objects and people around it.

Like at a gig, when you can feel the bass pounding in your ribcage. That's a great feeling.

@tetradite I know that deaf people can feel the vibrations and "hear" that way. And hell, Beethoven was deaf and he still made some fine music.

And I have to agree, there's nothing better than the feel of bass in your gut but I don't like when music has loud bass, unless it's a party or a gig and there's beer, it's alright then. Only loud bass I actually love is created by the large two-stroke engines like Harley Davidson or Indian, that I can listen to all day.

Fair dos, a lot of people don't ;)

I do love a good old bike engine noise. For me it's that kind of gluggy gurgle as they're just ticking over. Like a giant's stomach receiving a meal. Today's "high-performance" bikes are too high-pitched and whiny.

I'm bored.

Have a picture of me levitating:

I have read all the posts everyone else made since had to go back to work and than work on setting up the computer and sound system. Darn old HP business machine only has DVI and RCA jacks so I still have get go to work to find the RCA jacks from the day when we did not have optic sound outputs and input. Hmm?

I will just take a win and go eat a box of gum drops. http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/woot.gif Then I will feel better, SUGAR BUZZED http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/woot.gif, but better.
