I thought Steam was bad, then I took a Live and Origin to the knee.

I just got a new alias that I'm using besides this one, the one I used for GFWL is so noobish.

And I'm not sure if it's worth getting an Xbox anyway. I want to do it only because of my friend. That's the problem when you're a PC gamer and your best friend is a console gamer 5k miles away from you.

Oh well I shouldn't complain, it's amazing that we developed such a friendship just through text based discussion. Thank you internet! :biggrin:

 

You can always circumvent it by changing your existing one to a throwaway email address, and setting up another new one with your real email.

 

It only bugs me because I had an xbox years before and my xboxlive ID is terrible, so I've had to do the above to get a GFWL ID that doesn't suck, but now of course I have two IDs to remember, one for each system.

I never got to choose my XBox Live name, it just appeared (something like ZeroTiger with a number on it lol). I like to keep things easy and would've gone form the famous naomis8329 which I'm sure no-one else would've had lol.

I used the "Add New User" to an XBOX account to get my original Avatar name back. I keep the other one secret. If you've never changed it from the default one they gave you, you should be able to get one name change for free :thumbsup:
