Blops and Halo 4 both really put in an effort-and while the Blops campaign doesn't really have the storytelling quality of say, mass Effect or Halo, it's just wonderful to see Treyarch actually making a decent effort instead of tacking on a "Sgt. Durp, terrorists are attacking the US with nukular missile bombs, go shoot blow up some third world country with your AR15" I mean, they really tried hard, and for the most part they succeeded, even if it did leave the game feeling a bit bipolar, between thought-out custenes and killpocalyptic violence.
