Vindekarr Posted January 11, 2013 Share Posted January 11, 2013 I was reading today that the world motorsport governing body has announced they feel a need to be environmentally conscious; Formula One, already using hybrid cars since 2010, will be required to drive on pure electric when not racing, but they've taken another, further step today by introducing the world ot Formula E, a major racing championship for pure electrics, with big prize money and big teams, and some of the glamour normally reversed for F1. I think it's fantastic, we need to make a positive effort to reduce environmental damage, but going to an entirely electric racing Formula is a big step indeed.
