CRAPPERS! I nearly missed a Metallica thread! I think my favourite would be Sanitarium, dunno why, I just liked it's styling more, probably because Im also a rock sort of person.

 

Anyway, back to full activity for me now, I just got back from a business holiday in Tasmania. I was watching a local series car race there, and I saw probably the most amazing bit of mechanicry I think I ever had. One of the drivers, David Reynolds, went into the wall and lost a wheel. In the two hours between the races, his team managed to remove the entire left-hand suspension, fit a new set, replace the breaks, re-mount the engine,m re-certify the chassis, fit a new wheel, replace 8 different body panels, and duct-tape up the busted head-light. And the car not only ran, it did 42 laps and finished the race within a fairly decent position. As a mechanic and engineer, I am in awe-those changes would take about a week and a half at my workplace.

 

Apparently Australia's Bathurst race track will be in the next Gran Turismo, I really hope they add a couple of the local racing series' cars to play with on it aswell, it's been great this year. It's called V-8 supercars, they're about 50% NASCAR 50% European GT-Enduro car, but they're just fantastic to watch. Something THAT heavy(two tons) has no business being able to go that fast(340 KPH) they just defy physics. Fairness is amazing too, with the gap in lap times between pole position and 28th place being half a second, the usual difference between first and second in many other catergories.

They're an endangered species and not for sale.

 

Mostly because 3ds max doesn't like rendering so much fur and crashed 5 times in a row.

 

I should do proper homework and not put fur on everything.

Or maybe both, homework with fur.
