Iv000
I'll get a dog sometime soon though I'm not sure which breed. My dad tells me to get a Croatian Sheepdog. Intelligent and not too aggressive but defensive.Just look at it. http://www.bordercollie.hr/Bundi.jpg Fabulous as f*#@. My first choice would be a Border Collie, which is as far as I know just an English version of the Croatian Sheepdoggy. The Croatian one is maybe a tad too fabulous with its curls. If anyone has experience with sheepdogs or border collies some feedback would be nice.
billyro
@ Werne's post Wow... that's a little scary to be honest. :PGood thing I'm no lewd person then! I have punched people in the face before, but only after they have aggravated me to a certain extent. Your girlfriend is not someone you'd want to aggravate even slightly by the sounds of it. :P @ Iv000's post It's too fluffy. They should remove the "dog" from "sheepdog". Werne
Wow... that's a little scary to be honest. It's actually normal behavior for her during PMS. I don't even want to imagine how would she react if she sees one of my ex's, that would probably be painful to watch. :ohdear: Your girlfriend is not someone you'd want to aggravate even slightly by the sounds of it.I once asked her what's for lunch and she smacked me upside the head with a frying pan. I can't remember what annoyed her before that, I only recall it was painful. So yeah, I'd say aggravating her is not the smartest idea.
Ironman5000
not too aggressiveWell no dog is aggressive unless you make it that way, that's a myth which has gotten a lot of dogs killed  (I hate society)My first choice would be a Border CollieOne of mine is collie cross, they are clever and very responsive to commands so that would be a good way to go

They are gentle by nature, despite being the largest dog. We own a great dane pup who had outgrown our other dogs (bull arabs) in a few months. We've only had hunting dogs to be honest, aside from a miniature schnauzer. That dog was a punk. Very intelligent though. My uncle owns a half border collie half kelpie (I think) and she is very smart and responsive, as Ironman5000 said border collies were. They fart pretty bad though. Werne
Interesting. I removed Debian 7 to try out Debian 6 LXDE (lightweight desktop environment) and I'm impressed. It uses up 53MB RAM and 0% CPU on idle, 91MB with Firefox and Task Manager opened. Now I intend to see how low can I drop both without affecting the OS performance.
