Thor.
must of been a glitch on my end, resolved... hmm must be a firefox glitch, did a virus scan and tested different browser and chrome works so does explorer. odd glitch. Well back to chrome then.i like both anyways so its not a loss entirely :teehee:Edit NMM links work, oddly directly linking the site doesn't and at the end of the url is a question mark???. Which i never seen before. Edited November 19, 2013 by Thor.
billyro
You mean like ".../mods/12345/?" with that question mark on the end? I think it has always had it. Luckily for me, I haven't had any problems with the Nexus in months. I'd like to think that it has all come good now. EDIT: Wait, I actually got a corrupt download when I tried to download Project Brazil for New Vegas. I'm trying again now and hoping that it works this time. EDIT 2: Grr, not even working now. You've jinxed me! Edited November 19, 2013 by billyro
Vindekarr
Heh, I had a nice surprise this morning. Nissan has made a new super-sports car, and they've based it on the model car I have. What's awesome is, all they had to do to get the extra power was tune the electronics-because the GTR is a modular design(like a PC) I could theoretically just upgrade mine to the new spec. It'd probably be expensive, but it's something I love about Nissan cars. If you've got an older model, you can usually just strap on bits from newer versions-it's all compatible and even backwards-compatible. The only differences between the road and race spec models are electronic settings, body panels and tyres-and they're not only interchangeable, but Nissan even sells the bits as a DIY kit. Why can't all cars be like that? http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/attachments/gtboard-com-general-sportscars/64261d1209663430-nissan-gt-r-runs-7-29-nurburgring-red-gtr.jpg http://o.aolcdn.com/dims-shared/dims3/GLOB/crop/743x501+126+32/resize/628x417!/format/jpg/quality/85/http://hss-prod.hss.aol.com/hss/storage/adam/c73bebcb0d39d02b7ee2f73815804f2f/2015-nissan-gt-r-nismo-leaked_100446259_l.jpg
billyro
Ooh, looks nice. Just finished watching the Fallout: Nuka Break episodes on Youtube. They're actually made really well, almost as good as official TV shows. I wants more! :D Edited November 19, 2013 by billyro
Vindekarr
It's not so much the car itself I applaud-even though the GTR is a technological marvel. I love the idea that you buy a car, and when they release a new model you can just buy the new bits and stick them on, rather than buying a whole new car. Seems awfully nice for such a large corporation.
ub3rman123
Found 'em! Three of the most beautiful cars ever made, in my humble opinion. The Horch 853 http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/images/large/2066/Horch-853-Sport-Cabriolet_1.jpg Audi UW 220 http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/53/Audi_Front_UW_220_exhibited_at_Autostadt_in_Wolfsburg.JPG Pierce-Arrow Model 1245 http://www.imcdb.org/i011091.jpg So I'll just.. *Looks at auction listings* Err.. Vindekarr
Good to know you're still around Uberman-I haven't seen you around for a while. I will say this about car styling: beyond a certain point I don't think you can really compare them anymore-and that works for both ends of the spectrum. Some cars are just so eye-grabbing or so sinfully hideous that they're sort of incomparable without arguing taste, which is pointless. Me? the most beautiful car I've ever seen was a Lamborghini Miura-the Miura is a bit of a paradox: it's got flowing, graceful almost feminine lines, and yet at the same time it's brash, aggressive and really kind of edgey. And it works, for some strange reason, without ever seeming confused or bipolar. They sound pretty darn good too-huge V-12 and all that. http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01845/Lambo-2_1845825i.jpg Edited November 19, 2013 by Vindekarr
Thor.
The worlds fastest car of its time :whistling: the Mercedes 54 coupe , i rather see it in red though. that car was so ahead of its time, it wasn't funny. 212hp was technically unheard of back then, that changed with this car.
