Vindekarr
It's cold here. It's nice and warm here in Melbourne; most of the surrounding countryside is on fire which is keeping everyone toasty warm despite the cold day. Just another beautiful day in paradise! http://images.theage.com.au/2013/03/04/4080872/Black-Saturday-408x264.jpg

billyro
So, now that the ESO beta has finished, I can get back to making some weapons. Here's what I've done of Temreki so far... http://puu.sh/6S02l.jpg The ring just below the guard needs a little bit of tweaking so that it doesn't clip, but otherwise I'm pretty happy with the shape. EDIT: I just realised that I'm making the hilt too big again (Fury, my other claymore, had a huge hilt when I first tested) so I reduced the size a bit and it looks better IMO. http://puu.sh/6S0iH.jpg Edited February 11, 2014 by billyro
Vindekarr
That's looking great, the edited hilt size is spot-on for a Scots Claymore.
billyro
Awesome. :) Do you think the grip is too long? I think it probably is... http://puu.sh/6S1ZF.jpghttp://puu.sh/6S21w.jpg Oh yeah, I also had to remake the blade because of UV issues. Also I'm thinking about giving the grip a slight curve or bulge in the centre to give it a little more life.
BlackRampage
Yeah, that's a bit too long. I'd take about a quarter off. billyro
Alright, I shortened it and it does indeed look better. I'm now going to add a slight curve to the grip and I'll move onto texturing. http://puu.sh/6S3po.jpg Unrelated: my cat caught, tortured, killed and ate a mouse today.
K00L
Unrelated: my cat caught, tortured, killed and ate a mouse today. :rolleyes:My dog caught, tortured, and... kept a mouse from a month ago. Now it's a (very flat) mouse-cicle.I buried it under the snow so she wouldn't find it. She uses it like it's perfume. She'll just rub her neck on it.
