Unrelated: my cat caught, tortured, killed and ate a mouse today.

My dog caught, tortured, and... kept a mouse from a month ago. Now it's a (very flat) mouse-cicle.

I buried it under the snow so she wouldn't find it. She uses it like it's perfume. She'll just rub her neck on it.

Ah! Yeah, it's annoying when dogs roll in carcasses. Especially if it's fish! :yucky:

EDIT: I've just been reading through the posts in this thread from 2013 and it almost seems like a different place. There was about 40+ posts a day and there were a lot more people here. Those were such good times...

Also, I did 4 massive farts just then. Are you all proud of me?

I like everything about Morrowind, even the graphics and it's low poly meshes. Everything... except the Cliff Racers. The damn screeching, that coming out of f***ing nowhere to attack me and they swarm me like Zerglings, ugh! I hate them! :verymad:

Eeeyup, pretty much sums-up Morrowind for me. I didn't even get away from the dock where the ship stopped, everywhere I go I run into swarms of those little s**ts and die. :wallbash:

I do like how the angle of the .gif makes it look like he's trying to run back to the Seyda Neen boat. "No, take me back!"

Yeah, and the Morrowind's broomstick-in-ass running animation makes it look even more hilarious.

In other news, I managed to completely eliminate the framerate dropping in games. Usually the framerate would dip down to less than half during texture/mesh/cell loading but now it only drops 1-3 frames at most. I used a 2GB partition on my SSD for HDD caching (basically turned my HDD+SSD config into SSD+SSHD) which reduced the texture/mesh loading stutter a bit but not that much, boosted the loading times though.

And then I nailed it - I bought 8 gigs of RipjawsX 1600MHz CL10 memory yesterday (one of my old sticks was dying so I had to replace it) which didn't seem to do much at all compared to old memory. But today I overclocked it to 2133MHz CL12 and it effectively killed the framerate drops, and it also killed the annoying cell loading stutter. 1866 was fine too (albeit not as good) but I thought what the hell, may as well push it more, and it worked better than I expected. 2133 is max without touching the BCLK and I'm perfectly fine with that.

Seems like the PC benefits greatly in everything from increased memory bandwidth, programs run much smoother and games don't drop in framerate at all anymore. Awesome all around.

EDIT: Forgot to ask, where is everybody? This place feels like a ghost town. :ermm:
