I have Windows XP Pro on an old hard drive. It has a pinball game which came with the package. The software for it doesn't recognize the new sound system. I need some new software, also for the ISP modem, because I can't get it to connect to the Internet without an old 56 KB modem.

 

I still have one or two 56 KB modems.

 

I wonder if one of those old clunkers would be able to connect to the present modems external connection?

Today I decided to remake an NPC. But, not just normally (via the CK), I wanted to make an NPC in-game, with the RaceMenu sculpting features, and then make an NPC use it. Sounds like it would be pretty easy, right?

 

... Nope! First, I had to export the sculpt in-game - that was the easy part. I then had to regenerate the NPC's face data in the CK (in this case, I was remaking Gabriella from the Dark Brotherhood). After that was done, I had to use a program called NifMerge which copied the data from my sculpt onto an NPC compatible .nif file. After that, I had to open up the new face and the original CK export, copy each NiTriShapeData to the new one, one by one, and then overwrite. After that, I had to replace the CK generated facegen texture with the sculpt's exported one!

 

And that was that. A lot of stinkin' effort for the result! Still, her face turned out much better than anything I could accomplish using Skyrim's normal sliders, so it was worth it. :happy:

And yeah, I had to murder everyone. In fact, I resurrected Nazeem a couple of times so that I could keep killing him. :P

I don't compete with mods, I just make stuff that I like and then upload it if I can be bothered. :tongue:

 

I did download that Ice Blade mod though - it's freaking beautiful.

 

 

 

 

Has anyone here ever had 2 minute noodles? I swear they do not take 2 minutes to cook - more like 5 minutes!

I bit late, but I finally saw your Sword of the Snowhawk on Skyrim Nexus. Those images make me want to endorse it even though I don't have Skyrim right now. :laugh:

Edit: I was looking at the comments on a mod and saw someone who actually said: "Female characters get the short end of the stick on 75% of mods"

Edit: Ehhh... Woops? I just spent two hours in the GECK. It's now almost 2:00 AM. I thought I had only been messing around for maybe 30 minutes, an hour at most! :ohmy:

Speaking of modding, I just figured out how to get the DirectX rendering to work in 3ds Max, so now I can see what the object will actually look like without having to implement it into the game.

Hey have you ever tried to make it translucence and ever magic type weapon at the tip of the weapon. Dark and sinister.

Fallout is making me want to smash my face into my desk repeatedly.
The planetarium audio is annoying as hell, and on top of that I keep dying because I've got one stimpack, barely any ammo (At least I have my powerfist too), and a lot of super mutants that keep crippling me (in one shot; stupid damn hunting rifles) and locking me in the stagger animation, when they don't shoot me in the face and kill me from the start. I also just noticed that they've apparently studied the movie Wanted so much, they can actually curve the bullet (or at least some how magically with unexplainable science shoot sideways and even slightly behind them).

I believe there are mods which fix the curving bullets, but I can't remember the name of it.

 

 

 

And Morrowind is taunting me! I can't make it just work - there are always issues with CTDs, mod incompatibilities, glitches, etc. I think 90% of these problems originate from MGSO 3.0, but it's too nice to play without. Ugh!

 

EDIT: Nup, I give up. Uninstalled Morrowind...

 

 

 

 

Bloody hell, grammar has gone down the drain in the past few years. I reckon about 80% of the posts I see on Facebook have poor grammar, and that's including posts from the pages with hundreds of thousands of likes.

 

I just don't get it - poor grammar is something people should feel the need to improve upon, not ignore. So strange...
