At this thread I see only a way to pursue a win. Albeit temporarily, like good health. As good health can be undone if I eat too much of a good thing.

Inalienable health? I am not sure I have ever read it so put, or heard anyone put it so, and know not how I could suppose a right to having it all the time? I might have good health if I practice using preventative medicine some of the time? I might lose my health if I am not fully aware of what I might be ingesting.

How did Socrates influence the youth?

But Socrates didn't corrupt the young; he empowered the young. He empowered them to think for themselves, to question received wisdom, and not to be cowed by authority. No doubt, they made the authorities uncomfortable. ... No doubt Socrates instilled that attitude into his young pupils.

A Shout out to Thor! If you are still reading this post???

I too am still waiting for the Holo-Deck! I would so much like to play Sherlock Holmes with Doctor Watson. Maybe I might find Doctor Watson more to my liking if I were able to??? The improvements to all the new gaming machines for home play are just not giving me that sense I am actually playing like I used to out in the yard. Playing as a super hero defeating the invisible enemies.

And engaged in play with some neighbors children who wandered out of their own Safe Zone invading mine. Some brought by their parents while they visited, never returned.

When I got older I found out why. They already had modern equipment that surpassed my parent's offerings for entertainment. That was because we were seven, and with seven mouths to feed Dad could not afford a television set, yet, or an antenna that would have gotten signals which were from TV stations fifteen hundred miles away. During 1954 we were middle class. After 1958 we became upper middle class. Still a color TV set was out of Dad's reach.

I suspect! I am not saying it is fact... I suspect someone out there has a Holo-Deck. They, just like I had, have a more physical activity. They could engage in physically, like I did with a lot of imagination and about fifty square feet in the back yard to make believe I was in another world.

No Man's Sky would be a Fun Holo-Deck Experience. I have seen there are other games like it, and yet, I feel like a miner who could sit at home, in the future, and use a mining robot space mining machine remotely controlled. Exploring other planets would be the same as exploring the empty fields and lots with no homes or fences yet.

I grew up when there was a lot of land and staked out lots for sale. Empty space for farming and ranching too. I could see for miles. As far as my eyes could see all the way to mountain ranges. I knew, that, out there were tiny towns barely visible even when out for a Sunday Drive. If you blinked when passing you might miss them.
