Soolie Posted March 27, 2014 Author Posted March 27, 2014 I would just like to point out that I am definitely not an anime fan!!! :PThe main reason for the quaterstaff suggestion is that I am not able to replace the normal attacks. So you will still have to swing the 2h spear for a normal attack (I am balancing this by greatly reducing the stamina cost of power attacks, reducing their bonus damage and greatly increasing the chances of NPC's using power attacks. I just think it would feel more immersive to be swinging a staff rather than a spear :P However I'm starting to think that 2h spears will be better than staves.
skyvalr Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Polearms like halberds could fill that niche pretty well. I know I'm a bit biased hahaha, I'm a Mount & Blade/Total War/Chivalry: Medieval Warfare worshiping medievalist.BTW, nice Clouds mod.

But I think it would be cool to have a couple of different types of 2h pole weapons such as halberds, pikes glaives and generic 2h spears. Also I'll be releasing an update for my cloud mod within the week :) Edited March 27, 2014 by Soolie

Ditto, always thought it was crazy that the little M2TW guys had more attacks and weapons available than skyrim npcs! Edited March 28, 2014 by heyiforgot
HumiIiation Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 This looks awesome, I have been waiting for a mod like this since the game came out. Really interested in the technical stuff here.
hyralux Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Absolutely awesome work Soolie. Can't wait to be able to wield a spear again.
musegravemind Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 I'm really excited for this! It's like a dream come true.
h1zchan Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 (edited) Great work Soolie.Sorry to hijack this thread. i made a few two handed spear animations. You may want to use them in your mod if you cant be bothered making your own animations. Here's the link - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53455/? Edited April 27, 2014 by h1zchan
