WastelandGeographic
I just found and played the text-based adventure game in Fallout3. Man, does that take me back! You see, kiddies, thousands of years ago computer game thingies didn't have any pictures. They just had words like a book. And they had funny names like Zork, Infidel, and Leather Goddesses of Phobos. And instead of online we had Play by Mail. Yeah we actually played games through the mail. Back then, we could not have imagined a game as awesome as F3, but we tried. Yes, we tried.
0borderline
I still haven't come across that one. Wasteland was a text-based Post-Apoc' RPG, so I always wanted to try one.
xaechireon
I remember playing a Win95 Zork game once. It already had pictures by then, but nothing animated. Back then it gave me the creeps, like Doom and Diablo.
MythicDawnAssassin
Someone should make a mod of this that will allow the player to step in that little world, you know like the sim of OA. It should have the same objectives as the text game. It will probably require Point Lookout for its meshes and stuff.
Grumpfbork
I remember playing a Win95 Zork game once. It already had pictures by then, but nothing animated. Back then it gave me the creeps, like Doom and Diablo. Are you talking about Zork: Nemesis? Man, I loved that game. It broke ranks a bit since the Zork games are usually funny and Nemesis was not funny at all. It was actually very creepy, especially the part in the asylum freaked me out.
