Povuholo
I grew up with Smallville. It's far from the best show, some seasons were kinda bad, but it brings back good memories. I watched season 1 at the age of 10 and followed it ever since. Now I'm 19, and the final season, #10, is starting in September. Edit: Looks like I already said exactly that earlier in this thread. Oh well. Season 10 wooo!
grannywils
Top Gear (those guys are nuts), Doctor Who (when it's on), and Penn & Teller: Bullsh*t! (when I remember to tune in) are all I watch Ninja, I'm with you on Top Gear. Don't watch it often, but every time I do I just roll on the floor. Those three guys are great. Vindekarr
Yes, topgear is a good one. I would also add Tranformers G-1 to the pile, my favorite cartoon as a kid, great fun, great storyline, great universe, and some of the funniest "awkward moments" in manga. "yes, robot dinosaurs WOULD be useful, you have my permision"-Optimus Another candidate is Scrap Heap Challenge, two teams, usualy with only marginal technological and mechanical training, are presented with a task that they have to make a machine to accomplish. Hilarity ensues. Some example are a train proppeled by human muscle, which resulted in a giant hamster wheel from one team and a line of bikes chained to a land rover from the other, and another memorable one, the "train powered only by thrust" which resulted in a home made jet engine from one team, and a humungous bottlerocket from the others. species5478
OMG...OMG...OMG... I recently discovered another excellent show called Weeds that airs on Showtime...yup, the puff puff pass kind...so...it's about an upscale suburban mom who loses her husband and starts selling weed for a living. It's SO funny!
wizardmirth
Ugh, someone mentioned cake boss which makes me wretch cuz there are two blocks of lines outside the dude's place in hoboken every time I walk by (I don't live there but I visit sometimes). I like cooking shows, but not for desserts. No thanks. Boring. Give me Iron Chef of Kitchen Nightmares any day. I like Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Venture Brothers immensely because I find that intelligent and well-written humor (even if sometimes amazingly gross) stimulates my brain when I'm not reading. Also VB has reinvented the whole Johnny Quest/Justice Leauge/Scooby Doo type of mythos into their fully realized world. And its pretty friggin cool too although there may have been one too many pedophile jokes that are just starting to make me feel maybe a little bit uneasy. Sure, the first forty times it was a laugh but then you start to wonder if it's some kind of deeply rooted thing with the writers. And I used to like Lost until they completely basterdized everything into a bloody unrecognizable pulp like a food item on the ground after a soccer riot.
