If you had to live in any gameworld, which one?

If you had to live in any gameworld, which one would you choose?

I would choose Cyrodiil (of Oblivion) because though it has many troubles, in truth many areas are peaceful and not touched by all the troubles such as the cities that are not invaded by the daedra. I could still choose to join the fight.

Taking into account the standard of life that would exist in any reality, I would rather live in an age of high technology when most of the alements that society suffers and has suffered from should already be eradicated. If I were to choose a gaming world it wound be centered around Star Trek.

Which version/era? First gen original series? Or the reboot universe where vulcan is destroyed?

Gotta agree with ya though, but, I think I would like the DS9 universe. Not quite as touchy-feely-politically correct as TNG.....

I think more the original series. Things were more raw there. More Earthy. I can't really explain it but the original was more raw emotionally. TNG was more like a country club cocktail party meets George Jetson type thing.

I think humanity is gauged by the depths we all allow ourselves to dig into the darkness. Character always reveals itself, not when all is good but when everything is falling apart around us, so I think the development of character might be created more in the personal struggles one goes through. I often wonder which engine ambition and drive are generated. What forge provides us with the mindset that will ultimately lead us to who we end up being.

The Star Trek universe, I'd love to be able to travel among the stars, also the standard of living looks pretty good.

I think both series are products of their time, TOS being a positive outlook on the future with 1960s hippy visions of mankind all getting along, TNG is riddled with political correctness and touchy feely stuff prominent at the time, neither have aged that well.
