Hey SG, how about youtube? Will there be anymore vids, or you're tired of all this internet thing?

I have to finish NVBIII first. Youtube will always be secondary to my mods.

 

The truth is that my modding burnout affects my interest in video production - when it hits, I don't want to come close to anything remotely related to modding or Fallout.

Okay, so just finished Cholla Mountain, finally. I segued off into Dead Money, which I enjoyed immensely (Safety Deposit Box for the win!), then came back with knowledge and RadAway.

 

Unfortunately,

The Mod God (Jesus-Zimmer?) decided Hendershot had to die, so he did. He wouldn't finish his damned quest. And the Legion raid ate my computer's face and took a dump in its brain, though the few waves I did were RIDICULOUSLY exciting. My favorite combat in FO so far. Easily easily the best. More, want more.

 

 

Overall, I was amazed and blown away by Russell. The ending dialogue with him particularly gave me pause and appreciation for the mod as a whole.

 

Serious moral dilemma, but

shooting Mayor McPussnditch seemed redundant and wasteful. So I didn't. I'm all for shooting people, but not non combatants and civilians.

And my God...

Do you realize that in Honest Hearts, you're essentially playing the part of Glanton? And... now... s#*!. I mean, he's a baby killer, but I'm really having a hard time disentangling his morals and my own in Zion. I shot in self defense, a lot, like, genocidally and proactively (think LAPD), and I was defending two tribes when I kicked Salty's knees out from under him and put a hollowpoint in the base of his skull. s#*!, Someguy, I don't think anybody knows quite what they're getting into when they first download your mods. You have a knack for this.

 

 

Oh, haha, I did find one thing in NVB II that pissed my Courier off: some effwhit bounty hunter I shot down has a note on him to his girl back home, saying he loves her and hopes to see the kids again and he's going to make up for it all with just one shot. Cute. But seriously, seriously lapsed in judgement. No empathy on my end, you low-rent Bruce Willis.

 

Looking forward to NVB III SG! So much! I am sold on your writing and your story.

Woah, how the heck did I miss seeing this?? I need to hop onto these forums more often! I haven't played through all of your quest mods but I did greatly enjoy NVBI and NVBII, and plan on looking into the others. In fact your work is one of the things in the Nexus that makes me want to learn modding myself. :-) I greatly look forward to how this all goes.

As a long time fan of the Fallout franchise, I wanted to praise your dedication and tell you that I have particularly enjoyed your mods dealing with bounties, loved

the character of Russell, I even tested the boxing mod... GREAT work. Can't wait to re-install the game when chapter III is out. Hang in there!

I think we should all just let Someguy take his time and not bug him about ETAs, future projects or Youtube videos (eventhough those were a ton of fun), since he is creating all of this in his free time and for no money except for donations as we're all aware. Good things always take time so I can wait.

Hi Someguy! I left a comment on your Someguy Series mod page, but I thought it would be easier asking here since I just folund it. I'd love to help with voice acting for this mod or any future mods.

 

If you ever need someone to voice any part at all, as long as it's male, or maybe even transvestite, I'd love to do some voice work. I voice acted for the elder in The Deterrent, and I want to get back into voice acting for mods, since I'm horrible at making them. Here's a sample:
