Deleted5094879User
As title says, what do you guys prefer as a body mod and why?(male and female, also for more then just "boobs"). I'm having a hard time myself picking between UNPB (unp) and CBBE. Also he only male mod that still clothes them is better males.secondly: besides the main file of the body mods do I need to download meshes or face mods for no weird textures or seams? Undivide
I prefer the bodies that I made with Bodyslide (Technically CBBE I guess) because it gives the user the freedom to make any type of body he/she wishes. As for males, I don't exactly remember which male mesh replacer I have installed...
SineWaveDrox
For female body mods, my favorite is UNPCM. As for why, I suppose it's just the overall shape. However, on my female characters, I use a variety of different mods, including UNPCM, UNPB, UNP skinny, UNP, CBBE (Bodyslide customized), and an extensively modified variant of UNP skinny. For male body mods, my preference would be SoS, for a variety of reasons. However, I've been unable to find a Khajiit texture for it that I like, so I've been using Better Males instead. Jokerine
I just use vanilla. I do have Subtle Male Skeleton for males, though. No hassle with textures and no seams ;)
Jeir
Female: - I use CBBE, my own Slim-based BodySlide preset.Why?:- It has BodySlide, and with it I can customise the body shape to fit my preferences. So far, CBBE is the only female body mod (out of around 60) that comes anywhere close to my own body shape. The rest either have huge breasts, weird proportions, or look like they have implants...or all three. Of course, CBBE can also have these issues depending on what slider settings you use, but the default body shapes are quite well-proportioned (although Curvy is rather large in a lot of aspects.)- The only female body mod on Nexus with a near-complete mod list.- The mod author is still active (when work allows), and has plans for updates, including higher-poly meshes.- For those who use NMM, it has an installation script to make it easy to install.- Also has a facepack, or TexBlend to blend neckseams if you pick a different face texture. Male:- I use Better Males, Sundracon meshes. Subtle Male Skeleton. Smooth Males.Why?:- Sundracon meshes because the FavouredSoul ones have really, really bulky thighs which look disproportionate.- Subtle Male Skeleton to widen the chest and narrow the waist.- Smooth Males because veins are yucky and it makes them look younger.- Eyecandy. Both mods come with face textures that are either seamless with the body textures (CBBE) or are close enough that it shouldn't matter too much. I use the CBBE facepack, and Fine Face Textures for the guys.
Dhegonus
for bodies, i just use UNP with normal non skimpy armour then i use the mature skin, s women look natural and not 12-15 and look more like 25-35, more realistic in my eyes. Deleted5094879User
Wow a lot better responses then I thought I'd get! Thank you for the inputs. I might try it custom slider with CBBE, I don't like the non natural look but I don't like hoe all women in a place with a good of beauty are not beautiful. And I'll take a look at better males again with sundracon meshes. Has anyone used better females I believe the mod was called, is that just a texture replacer or a body mod? michaelkenner
I'm still experimenting with the different body-mods. I'm not quite sure which ones I prefer, I really need to do some side-by-side comparisons when I get a chance. I used Better Females by Bella for a while, it's purely a texture replacer for the face and doesn't affect meshes, skeletons or any other part of the body. IsharaMeradin
I'm the opposite of Jeir. I found CBBE to be quite confusing and the body slide and tex blend tools never seemed to work for me. So I stick with my tried and true UNP setup. FemalesUNP baseExeter's selection of UNP adaptations of the stock and dlc armors/outfits Malesstock For the player characterMy Custom Player Body mod. Top it all off with All In One Face and turn FXAA on. Result: no major seams and no color difference. Does vary with lighting but all combinations will do that.
