Bioshock managed it, and closed the game off spectacularly, and that's why it's hailed as such an awesome game. If Valve just made some generic end-boss, had you kill it, then rolled the credits, it'd just ruin the feel of the whole series. Have to get it to end correctly. Some awesome game enders: 1. The Nihilanth (HL1)2. The Primarch (DOW2)3. Ragnaros (WoW, no, the expansions don't count.)4. The Witch King (BFME2:RotWK) Some awesome games with terrible endings, and thus got worse receptions:1. Valve have never made a game for the PS3, and no one suspected they would because Gabe Newell has made quite a few remarks against it. He did also say that Valve's E3 suprise would not be HL3. Much easier and in my opinion even more reliable the having a disk copy. Valve are pretty much.... awesome.
