I just want to mention, because I don't see many people talking about it in this thread, that although it's 100% true that uninstalling GeForce Experience fixes the problem, and it's 100% true that most of GeForce Experience is useless... Shadowplay, the game capture programme from NVIDIA, is bound up with GeForce Experience and can't be accessed without it.

So if you've been using Shadowplay to record your gameplay, like I have, you're a little screwed unless Boris chooses to update ENBseries to be compatible with the new GFE (a decision totally up to him, of course, and no one can blame him if he chooses not to address it). It seems unlikely that NVIDIA will update GFE to be compatible with ENB, so if you are a Shadowplay user, you are presented with a choice of Shadowplay (GFE) or ENBs.

I chose ENBs for now, but if I find my game has become too modded since I started with Shadowplay (minuscule performance hit) to now be recorded with Fraps again (large performance hit) without serious FPS issues, I might have to give up ENBs in favour of Shadowplay... which I really desperately do not want to do. -_-

I did send a feedback request to NVIDIA to let them know the problem they've caused (me and 100,000 others, I presume), so I'll keep hope alive that they will consider fixing it on their end. Or maybe make Shadowplay available to NVIDIA users as a stand-alone outside of GFE... Boy, that would be nice. :)

lol to above...IF an older version of Experience workes with ENB...then its not ENB, Nvidia changed something...its on their end.

Install an older version of Experience..it WILL work.

++++

Race is on , bet Boris fixes it first...lol

Are you talking about my post? Because you seem to be addressing things I didn't say.

Please do not panic - Nvidia WILL patch their 'Experience' program. However, patching done in a panic mode ( OMG we gotta get a patch out NOW!!! because we broke somebodies game.) is the worst kind of patch and tends to break other things - Give them a week to at least check to see if the patch that fixes this is going to break something else, :rolleyes:

BTW, I saw something about a beta patch on Nvidia. Use at your own risk. That means if it totally destroys your game - you should blame only yourself for being too impatient to wait until it has actually been tested. :blush:

No, I don't believe it will do any unrepairable damage to anything - just be careful and make a BACKUP first. :cool:

If you're like me and use ShadowPlay, and uninstalling GeForce Experience is not an option, use an older, working version:

2.1.1.1: uk.download.nvidia.com/GFE/GFEClient/2.1.1.1/GeForce_Experience_v2.1.1.1.exe

2.1.1: uk.download.nvidia.com/GFE/GFEClient/2.1.1.0/GeForce_Experience_v2.1.1.0.exe

Uninstall 2.1.2 and then re-install with an older version, you will get an error if you don't uninstall 2.1.2, as to be expected. You will have to re-do all of the ShadowPlay settings.

I got these by following the download link to 2.1.2 on nVidia's site, and just changed the numbers.
