they are vanilla files and you should already have them if not just verify your cache through steam and steam will place the files there for you

Right click skyrim in steam, then properties, then local files, then verify

Hi,

Apologies for the following STUPID question.

I was trying to create an archive from my created mod in CK yesterday, and after the process completed, ALL my mod data was simply GONE! Completely. I could not find the bsa without general search, and then it wouldn't open, as "incomplete file"

Fortunately I had a backup, which I could drag in.

What did I do wrong?

How do I export a mod from CK? I am trying to export and use via Mod Organiser.

Thanks for analysis and suggestions.

Edit: I might have found the answer in the CK Wiki thanks

Hi,

I am 100% new to modding. I just got Skyrim for my PC on Thanksgiving.

I have the game installed. Now I'd like to begin modding...

What is the FIRST thing I need to do? This guide seems to be for a beginner that has sort of already...begun. That knows something about modding already. Let's assume I know NOTHING about modding....where do I start. Bottom line, right after installing the game?

PS... I tried doing the steps in the beginners guide that tony put together http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56894/?

I got to Step 7 "Install Nexus Mods". But I can't just "install" anything. I don't know if I messed something up... or if I just plain don't know what I am doing...

Any help would be apprecaited.

Thanks

Try these, but if I were you I would watch the 7th one down by Gopher, he not only makes mods and tutorials, but also does review and play throughs
