ThomasKaira Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Whenever I log into TESNexus or Fallout3Nexus it tells me I have new personal messages, but when I go to my PM inbox, it's empty. What's going on here?
Deleted1217574User Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Not sure, I seem to be having the same problem though =/ If I figure something out, I'll post it here.
AliasTheory Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 I had this problem for the past couple days, but it seems to have disappeared. I checked my box for the new message and afterward, the number went back to 0 like it should.
LHammonds Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 I just sent everyone a TEST PM. This probably fixed the numbers for you. LHammonds
AlienSlof Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Happens to me too - like it's cached the information instead of clearing it. Restarting the browser usually resets it for me.
Community Manager Dark0ne Posted September 8, 2010 Community Manager Posted September 8, 2010 When you first load your browser and visit a Nexus site a session is started that stores stuff like your new PM count. If there's a new PM you'll get a notification and then the counter is reset and the session updated. If for some reason (normally browser settings/firewall/anti-virus/internet suite/router...) your system is blocking the session then it might not update the session. Completely closing your browser (not the tab, your entire browser) and starting it up again should reset it for you.
Deleted1217574User Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Might be unrelated, but I also seem to not be receiving email notification of PM's. Out of ten or so I got since yesterday afternoon, I received an email about one of them =/
