RagnarokJ
I getting this error message after putting the necessary files in: "You have an unknown version of fallout. Please check http://nvse.silverlock.org to make sure you're using the latest version of NVSE. (version = 0001000100010118)". Don't know what to do. bben46
NVSE is designed to work with the steam version of NV. If you have a pirate version - SOL.
gsmanners
Actually, beta 3 works with a recent version of the game, but not with the very latest version.
RagnarokJ
Is that what that message on download page meant? "A new version of New Vegas has been made available on Steam. We're working on updating NVSE to work with the new version, and hope to have an update soon."
Daynox
I had this working last night using the nvse_1_beta2 everything was fine... today it says the same as RagnarokJ, same error on startup so i DL'd the latest one.. nvse_1_beta3 and it still says the same thing :wallbash:  like...what needs to be updated? GvazE
What about for people who play steamgames offline and don't bother updating them?
Fonger
What about for people who play steamgames offline and don't bother updating them?wouldn't that mean that the old version would work for them
GvazE
The old version of nvse would, not the one from two weeks ago before it was ever updated (fallout:nv i mean) (I'm waiting for the the next fix, though I might update for this one)
XxDeathLordJasonxX
NVSE is designed to work with the steam version of NV. If you have a pirate version - SOL.You need to stop assuming people have pirated copies because of an problem.. Cause I have seen you post the same thing before in the past.. and honestly.. its annoying..
