Hi everybody. I was pointed to this thread after posting a request for voice talent in the mod requests thread.

 

I have a mod here on the Nexus called "Axe Man Companion" that I'm adding a couple of quests to. The main character is already voiced, and I plan on voicing another character myself. My problem is that there's a third character that the player will need to interact with, and he needs a voice, too. I don't really trust myself to be able to sound different enough to voice two characters, and the person I have voicing the main character is already doing enough other stuff that I don't want to ask him to do it either. The character is based off of John Goodman's character from the movie "The Big Lebowski", so anyone that can do even a passing impression of Goodman would be great. The name and dialogue alone should be enough to make people get the reference, though, so anyone that has an adult male voice will be fine, even if they don't sound like him. If anyone is interested, you can contact me back here in the thread, or message me on the Nexus. You won't have to do anything other than record the lines I send you, I can trim them, fix background noises, and change the file format to the one GECK uses myself.

 

I can't really offer any compensation for helping me, but you will be featured on a mod that already has over 1000 downloads and features Youtuber Alchestbreach, and you'll be credited on the mod's page, too, of course.

Hello all,

 

New to the forums but I've been playing the Fallout series since its inception, and I'm currently running about 70 Nexus mods (AMD "Bulldozer" Octacore + GeForce GTX 570 FTW!)... Figure it's about time I give something back.

 

Anyway, I'm a 34 year old white male from the US who does impersonations. I'm not as good as Jon St. John... but I'm also a heck of a lot cheaper. lol. So, if you need a specific type of male voice (as long as it's not someone who just screams every line like they're demon-possessed), I can probably pull it off. (I can do female voices too... but you can likely find a female voice actor who can do it a lot better than I can... since they'd be, like, female.)

What I CAN do:

Voices similar to Kermit the Frog, Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Curly (from the Three Stooges), Forrest Gump, pretty much any country singer you can think of... and Dr. Dre. (Don't know where that voice came from, lol. And strangely enough, I can't mimic Eminem AT ALL. Go figure.) I also do a variety of accents, including Russian, German, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, and English. Basically, I can do any style of character you may need, and if I can't already I can probably train myself to.

What I CAN'T (or WON'T) do:

Voices similar to Daffy Duck, screaming (not screaming like a drill sergeant, I can do that just fine... think more like Drowning Pool's "Let The Bodies Hit The Floor"... technically I can do it, but I prefer not to feel like I've gargled with razor blades, thanks), and cursing. If you send me a script with cursing, you'll get back clean-version recordings... just so you're aware.

Please keep in mind, too, that I am a 34 year old male... I have a job and a family. If you need something done quickly, I will do what I can, but chances are it will take me some extra time to finish what you need done so it'd be in your best interest to get me the script sooner rather than later. If I'm too swamped to help you out at the time, I will let you know up front.

Ok, now for the part that makes it sound like I'm a fake... but I'm really not, I swear, lol:

I currently do not have a mic... well, I have a mic, but I don't have my mixer board so I can actually use it (I was a producer back about ten years ago... most of my equipment has, umm, "migrated"). I'm buying a new mic within the next two weeks regardless (one that uses USB), so I'll have that rectified shortly. However, since I don't have a mic, I currently don't have anything in the way of samples. I can promise you though... I am for real. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll do my best to pull off that voice. I may have to record demos on my phone for the very near term, but I'll figure out a way to get you something.

Hey, If anyone needs voice acting for any young adult male characters (Or just male characters in general) for a companion or just an npc, I'll be happy to do it. I can also do a few accents if it's needed (Indian, Australian, Scandinavian) or none if not needed. I got my recording euipment (Presonus brand) so I'm pretty covered on that part. The quality of the voice should be perfect. So hit me up if you're interested, and I'll be happy to voice a character or two in your mod.

Looking for a female voice actor to play the part of a bartender who sells an exotic dance club to the player. 3 versions of the club will be done, first is female dancers only, second is male and female dancers, and third is male only dancers. I want the responses to be from a female perspective so there is no script just guidelines like the dancers are not prostitutes and if that's what someone wants they can go to Gamorrah. The dancers wear skimpy clothes and dance for tips and 10% goes to the house. A brief explanation on the owner that's not met.. Or you can play the owner and explain why you choose to tend bar after selling.

 

All lines must be gender neutral as far as the dancers are concerned so a question the player can ask will be "Tell me about the dancers here?" and answer could be something like "They dance for tips and are quite good at it. They are not employees and they are not prostitutes. if you want employees to boss around or free prostitutes you are looking to buy the wrong place."

 

Bonus, you can name the character and even decide on it's looks.
