Hello Everyone,

I'm in the middle of putting a quest/companion mod together and I need a few voice actors for my characters. There are ten characters in all. Seven of these characters are highly important to the story, whilst the other three fill the roles of generic NPCs. The Characters are:

  • A mid-50s trader - Male
  • A grizzled ex convict - Male [FILLED]
  • A young Italian American - Male
  • A bartender - Male or Female [FILLED]
  • A Posh English gentleman - Main Character
  • Three gang members/cronies - Should be Male, but story can be altered slightly to accommodate any women who are interested. [ONE REMAINING]

(I'd prefer it if each of the cronies had different voice actors, but if anyone feels they can make their voice sound different enough for each, I can go with that)

There are also two more female characters, whom I can't say much more about without spoiling the story, so if anybody is interested in voicing these I can let you know more about them if you email/message. [bOTH PARTS HAVE BEEN FILLED]

Any questions, samples or acceptances should be sent to me at [email protected].

Thanks,

Magnus

UPDATE - Since FO4 is so close I've decided to halt production of this, until the game releases and I've had a chance to thoroughly play it. At that point, I'll have the necessary knowledge to rewrite the script to fit Boston, as opposed to New Vegas. If anybody feels they'd like to take on a role, I'm still accepting auditions, however please note that it will be a while until I can get a definitive script out. Thanks.

Put together a new reel comprised solely of material I've recorded for mods over the last 6-7 months or so. You can check it out here. Currently ODing on everything Fallout-related and looking for more roles to take on, so if you've got a part you think I'd be a good fit for, feel free to shoot me a PM! :D

ERIC SALDANHA

GENDER: Male

AGE: 25

NATIONALITY: Canadian

ACTIVE?: I'll check back every couple of days.

EXPERIENCE: Virgil, in the critically acclaimed New Vegas Bounties III was probably my biggest role. I've also played other roles, such as Yngol Stormblade in the 'Rigmor' mod for Skyrim.

SKILLS/POSSIBLE ROLES: I've a gruff, deep voice, making me sound older than I am, and best suited to a tough-guy role in a neutral North American accent. I could easily be cast as a military officer, villain, grizzled veteran, a companion to the player character, or even a narrator. Other possibilities are many.

VOICE SAMPLE:

A rather dramatic intro for my character in the Star Citizen universe - I was planning to start a YouTube series when the game launched.

And, of course, Virgil

Who is, in truth, Marko,

in New Vegas Bounties.

ABOUT ME: I work well with others, and am a decent problem-solver. If we work together, I can share my personal e-mail. If the mod creator would like someone to proofread and/or edit dialogue or text that'll appear in-game, I'm quite a capable editor as well.

Feel free to contact me in tells.

Hello all you New Vegas fans!

I'm currently working on a series of mods based on the Homestuck webcomic by Andrew Hussie, and will be needing voices in the not so distant future.

Please note that I'll need both a more typical wasteland series of voices, and a set of more impression like voices for the Homestuck characters. When it comes to the impressions, I'll provide both a series of written lines as well as some fan interpretations on these voices for reference. These are not set in stone, and I'm very willing to listen to different interpretations.

Here are the regular parts I'll be needing filled as I have them now. This is subject to change based on the timetable and scale of the mods.

- Older Male Grizzled Leader, 40s-50s, needs to sound tired/jaded

- Younger Female Guard/Mechanic, 20s-30s, should sound somewhat ornery or irritated, obviously stressed.

- Young Boy, 15-18, should be more carefree and upbeat.

- Gentleman/Gentlewoman, 30s and up, should be fairly posh, with a hint of indignation for their current situation.

- Serene Female Voice, should sound completely calm, warm, and in control.

- Middle-aged Man, 30s-40s, should have a fairly direct and to the point vocal tons, a more distinct regional accent would be appreciated.

- Older Woman, 65+, should sound fairly erratic, with a lot of vocal variation and the ability to sound convincingly senile.

That should be all for the moment with concerns to the residents of Downtown. Characters are subject to change, but I don't plan on modifying them too much.

Next of course are the main Homestuck Cast. I'd very much recommend some research into the webcomic for these roles, although it's absolutely not required. For these, I'll also be looking elsewhere for voices, so I may periodically be eliminating parts, as well as adding them as more chapters of the mod are developed.

All parts, unless stated otherwise, are around 16 years old. However, voices are free to range appropriately.

Dave Strider, Male, voice can either be lower and more monotone or higher with some variation, very up to interpretation.

Sample Text:

TG: i dont know what it smells like or tastes like

TG: but i sure as hell know what it looks like

TG: like a f*#@in symphony on my retinas

TG: s#*! is beautiful like a little vermilion picnic on my hands

TG: every day i open my eyes i find poetry in even the simplest things

TG: just one of those little joys in life you take for granted you know

TG: this miraculous gift of vision

Sample Voices:

Something like that is honestly preferred.

Rose LaLonde, Female, voice should be very proper, with a snarky undertone maintained throughout.

Sample Text:

TT: I am currently scrawling notes furiously into one of the many psychoanalysis journals I maintain for you. Published papers forthcoming.

TT: Because, you know, it's not like either of us have anything better to do at the moment than to evaluate each other's radically debilitating pathologies.

Sample Voice:

I can't find one for the life of me. If you think you can fit the above than go for it.

Karkat Vantas, Male, needs to be always shouty, annoyed, and angry with a fairly high pitch or nasally whine.

Sample Text:

KARKAT: EVERYONE OUT OF THE GODDAMN WAY.

KARKAT: IVE GOT A LAB FULL OF HUMANS, A MOUTH FULL OF YELLING, AND A TORTURED PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE FULL OF TOTALLY HYSTERICAL EMOTIONS AND UNAIRED GRIEVANCES AT PRACTICALLY EVERYONE.

Sample Voice:

Those are the main ones for now. I'm looking forward to talking to some very good voice actors over the coming weeks. Thanks, and have a good one.

I'm pretty new to posting on the forum here, but I've been wanting to jump into voice acting, and I love New Vegas mods, so it's a pretty great place to start I reckon! I'm Scottish, but have been told I can do a few accents pretty well! For a little snippet of what I sound like, I'll link my YouTube channel. Cheers!

Relatively new to voice acting, though happy to provide what small talent I can as needed (From radio, to quests, and anything in between.)

My Mic is decent quality (Snowball blue), English is my first language, and I'm eager to give it a shot. As a bonus, here's a bit from the Let's play channel (since everyone and their cat has one, and a spinoff for the cat.)

Right now, minor roles are probably best though I'd be happy to try and tackle almost anything given enough time to figure it out.

I am a 15 year old male, I've got a very good voice range, and I can do a few accents, such as a heavy Scottish, and a light English. I am American, though, so If that's what you need, I got it, too. I don't talk much outside of productions, although when it's needed, I will talk up a storm. I have experience in stage acting, and I am training to be a professional voice actor, preferably for Anime, and games. To contact me, email me at [email protected]
