It got top poster again today.

Looking at it's profile, it seems 4% of it's posts are outside of the Uploaded Files section.

Where else does it post?

WarKirby

in the Oblivion Players forum perhaps, or maybe it actually is a human. :D

Here. You can find it towards the bottom of the forums.

Wow. If it weren't for the PLUGIN MANGER( >:( ), I'd be at the number 1 position!

Indeed that evil must be surpressed. Why not create a pool Warkibby? It agree with you on the top 10 posters... There was a time where I beat him, about when I joined. Posting spree.

Needless to say, I had 90 posts per day.

But if Dark One cant do anything about it, I guess its not that bad. It should be too difficult, perhaps unregistrer it or something? I know theres 1 unregistred Plugin Manager and THE Plugin Manager. Perhaps even name it, Plugin Manager sounds weird... haha.

Does it really matter?

Post count isn't everything, you know....

I agree, but it sure is annoying an AI gets that spot while hard working posters on the forums deserve it. And once you do get 1st, it becomes the Uber Concurence, enought to put you in a transe of paranoia:

"Is this a mod day... is this a mod day... is this a mod day... NOOO someone realeased a mod! Im outposted!" hits head on wall.

Plugin Manager.

Posting Manager. Hah!

From all the replies i've seen here it looks like you all think it's important to have a high post count or be on top of this list.

It sounds like we are posting on these forums just for the post count and a spot on the top 10 list, and not for discussing, asking things, etc.

This also causes pointless messages to appear everywhere on the forums (not everyone does this of course). 'I'll just post one more time somewhere even though my post doesn't really mean much, so I'm the number one poster of today'.

I really don't care. If it were me I would probably remove the whole top 10 poster thing. But not the post count, because it's nice to know how much you've posted yourself. I wouldn't mind if it was private: Only your own post count visible.

I don't want people to see me as a great person because of the NUMBER of posts, I want them to see me as a great person because of what is WRITTEN in those posts.

I've said it once and i'll say it again: It's the quality, not the quantity of your posts that matters! ;)

There was a time when having a post count at all was strongly debated but I decided to keep it since it seems to affect the "come-back factor" of some of the more younger posters.

I will not be going out of my way, wasting my time to make sure that a human, not a computer, gets the number 1 slot in the top 10 posters board!
